Project Details:
We are seeking a Certified Workday Advanced Compensatioin Lead with an active certification to provide 15-20 hours per week for an ongoing implementation. Candidates should have strong implementation experience leading an Advanced Comp workstream, and strong customer communication skills. The work is 100% remote and candidates will use their own device through a virtual desktop.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
The Workday Advanced Compensation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of Workday’s Advanced Compensation module. This role requires expertise in compensation strategy, system configuration, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the organization's compensation policies and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation and System Configuration
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Workday Advanced Compensation module.
Configure compensation plans, including merit, bonus, equity, and allowances, to align with organizational needs.
Manage system testing and validation to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
Compensation Strategy Alignment
Collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership teams to translate compensation strategies into system requirements.
Ensure that the Advanced Compensation module supports the organization’s pay-for-performance philosophy and compliance standards.
Monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend system enhancements.
Reporting and Analytics
Develop and deliver customized compensation reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
Partner with stakeholders to analyze compensation trends and support decision-making.
Maintain data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure accurate reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Advanced Compensation, providing guidance and training to HR and leadership teams.
Work with IT and Workday support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Manage relationships with external vendors or consultants for system optimization.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with global and local compensation regulations and internal policies.
Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive compensation data.
Maintain system documentation, including business processes, user guides, and training materials.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
5+ years of experience in HRIS management, with a focus on Workday Advanced Compensation.
Proven track record of leading compensation module implementations and configurations.
Experience in global compensation management is preferred.
Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation and related HR modules.
Proficiency in configuring merit plans, bonus programs, and equity compensation.
Strong analytical skills and experience with Workday reporting tools.
Familiarity with data integration, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
