Job Description
Job Title: Water Engineer
Organisation: Relief Line Emergency Relief Suppliers
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Relief Line Emergency Relief Suppliers is seeking a qualified Water Engineer to join their team and contribute to water resource and irrigation system projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design and Implement Systems:
Design, implement, and manage irrigation systems.
Design and manage piped water supply systems.
Technical Planning:
Create detailed engineering drawings and plans for water-related projects.
Project Oversight:
Monitor and ensure the successful execution of water system projects.
Provide technical advice and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
Licensing:
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Water Engineer, including experience in designing and managing irrigation and piped water systems.
Skills:
Strong project management and planning abilities.
Proficiency in using engineering design software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
