Job Description
As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for scripting and recording high-quality marketing videos tailored to small business owners. These videos will be shared across LYFE Marketing’s social media channels. Your content will focus on education, lead generation, and brand visibility. You’ll be the face of the company in these videos, while a team of video editors will handle the post-production process. LYFE Marketing will provide the necessary filming equipment, and you’ll be part of their internal marketing team. This role demands strong writing, creativity, and on-camera confidence. You will apply best practices for social media content creation, ensuring your work is optimized for audience engagement and retention.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Script and record marketing videos to be posted on company social media pages
Present content on camera with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
Create engaging video content using storytelling techniques and social media trends
Develop hooks and maintain viewer engagement throughout videos
Collaborate with the internal team to align content with marketing goals
Apply video content best practices to optimize viewer retention and engagement
Educate small business audiences through entertaining and informative content

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, journalism, or a related field (preferred)
Experience:
1–2 years of digital marketing or on-camera/social media content experience (required)
Core Competencies:
Passion for content creation and social media
Strong written communication and grammar skills
On-camera presence and excellent interpersonal communication
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Fast learner with the ability to understand and align content with business needs
Preferred Skills:
Broad understanding of LYFE Marketing’s services and social media trends
Strong writing and editing abilities
Certifications in platforms like Hootsuite, HubSpot, DigitalMarketer (a plus)
Background in customer service, management, or working with small businesses
