Tutorial Assistant (Marine Engineering- Oil and Gas Engineering) job at University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM)
Job Description
To assist in carrying out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and To perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
To teach up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
To assist in conducting tutorial, seminars and practical exercises for students under close supervision;
To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises;
To assist in conducting research under close supervision;
To participate in developing and review of curriculum;
To assist in carrying out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and
To perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Competencies
Holder of a bachelor Degree (NTA Level 8) in Oil and Gas Engineering or equivalent qualifications with a minimum GPA of 3.5 at Bachelor Degree level. Holding a Certificate of Competence is an added advantage. Must be ready to undergo Sea Service.
