Job Description
Job Title: Treasury Sales Dealer

Reports to: Head Treasury Sales Dealer
The Treasury Sales Dealer is responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales of treasury products in foreign exchange and fixed income. The role involves providing market insights, delivering tailored solutions to clients, and ensuring profitability while adhering to risk and compliance guidelines.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual clients.
Understand clients’ business needs and risk profiles to recommend appropriate treasury solutions.
Actively market and sell treasury products (foreign exchange, fixed income, etc.) to potential and existing clients.
Provide market insights and advisory services to clients, assisting them in navigating currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks.
Monitor global financial markets and provide clients with timely updates on economic trends, currency, and interest rate movements.
Execute client trades accurately and ensure best execution practices.
Coordinate with trading desks to secure competitive pricing and manage transaction flows.
Identify cross-selling opportunities with other departments to enhance client relationships and business turnover.
Conduct on-site sales and service meetings with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored hedging solutions.
Organize and lead client training sessions, ensuring they are well-informed about treasury products and services.
Actively contribute to the development of marketing and training materials.
Sales and Performance Management
Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets for treasury products.
Generate daily sales performance reports and client call reports, tracking progress against set targets.
Collaborate with branch teams to expand the bank’s market share and penetrate new customer segments.
Maintain a portfolio of treasury clients, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
Conduct periodic visits to clients, enhancing relationships and fostering loyalty.
Continuously promote the expansion of the treasury business through proactive customer engagement.
Risk and Compliance
Ensure that all transactions and client interactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
Uphold high ethical standards in client dealings, ensuring transparency and integrity in all transactions.
Manage risk by staying within defined parameters for all treasury-related actions.
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of client interactions, trade executions, and overall sales performance.
Prepare and present regular sales and market activity reports to management.
Ensure that client queries and concerns are escalated and resolved promptly, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration and Internal Coordination
Work closely with relationship managers and other internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the bank’s treasury offerings.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
ACI certification is a must have
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in treasury sales, foreign exchange, fixed income, or related fields.
Experience in client-facing roles within a financial services or banking environment.
Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Strong understanding of treasury products, including foreign exchange, fixed income, and derivatives.
In-depth knowledge of financial markets and economic trends.
Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights based on market trends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial tools/platforms.
