About the Organisation
The Regional Service Centre in Entebbe, Uganda (RSCE), was established in July 2010, following the adoption of General Assembly resolution 64/269. The Centre provides efficient, client-oriented and scalable services with the goal of moving transactional, non-location dependent administrative functions to the Centre from its client entities. This includes transactional elements of human resources, finance, multimodal movement and control, personnel and cargo transport and information and communications technology (ICT) support.
In addition to these services, the Office of the Director RSCE and the Deputy provides overall guidance on the operations of the RSCE including strategic planning, communication, budgeting, human resources management, property management, quality assurance and business intelligence, conference services, record keeping and archive management, and audit response and risk management.

Job Description
Assist with arranging logistical support for meetings, conferences, and other events, including travel and accommodation for participants.
Duties and Responsibilities
Travel Arrangements:
Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, consultants, and official visitors, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
Ensure that travel itineraries align with organizational policies and budget constraints.
Travel Documentation:
Prepare and process travel authorizations, travel advances, and travel claims.
Verify that all necessary travel documents, such as visas and passports, are in order and comply with host country regulations.
Provide cost estimates for travel-related expenses and ensure they are within budget.
Assist in the preparation of travel budgets and monitor expenditures.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Ensure that travel arrangements comply with organizational travel policies and procedures.
Stay updated on changes in travel policies and guidelines and communicate these to staff.
Travel Advisory:
Provide information and advice to travelers regarding travel policies, procedures, and best practices.
Advise on the most efficient and cost-effective travel routes and options.
Coordination with Travel Agencies:
Liaise with travel agencies and vendors to secure the best rates and services.
Resolve issues or discrepancies related to bookings and travel services.

Qualifications and Competencies
A technical or Vocational Certificate in IATA.
At least 5 years in experience in travel MGT, including use of Global Distribution System (GDS), routing or related area
At least 2 years’ experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
1 Year experience in data analytics
