Job Title: Transport Clerk Unilever (Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Inventory Transport Controller& Customer Facing Specialist

Responsible track & Trace of fleet in transit including reporting violations/best practices, roll calls in morning, night curfew, journey plans and provision of feedback to drivers.
Responsible for generating accurate transport statement daily, weekly and on monthly basis.
Responsible for generating accurate fuel statement on weekly and monthly basis.
Responsible for management of PODs including scanning, filing, and archiving them when they are returned.
Responsible for generating the POD report on weekly, monthly, and reporting any risk around POD returns to line manager.
Responsible for issuing fuel to drivers after loading.
Responsible for reporting any Health and safety faults within area of jurisdiction to line manager or the Site Lead.
Responsible for generation of transport KPI data as assigned by the line manager.
Supports on any other duties as assigned by line manager.
Responsible for timely submission of transporters invoices and follow up their payments with finance at DHL head office.
Contact person for subby drivers.
Responsible for following up on recovery of fuel with finance department.
