About the Organisation
A physician-led-and-owned healthcare delivery organization, Vituity offers integrated, acute care expertise in the areas of anesthesiology, emergency medicine, inpatient/outpatient medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and telehealth. Founded in 1975 as California Emergency Physicians, or CEP America, Vituity announced its new name in 2018. The company's decision to rebrand was motivated by its rapid expansion and its mission to "transform acute patient care nationwide." The change included joining together CEP America's MedAmerica subsidiaries under the Vituity brand. In the past, Vituity has posted part-time, flexible schedule, and hybrid to 100% remote jobs in fields like medical & health, operations, project management, computer & IT, and HR & recruiting. In a culture of innovation, servant leadership, and compassion, team members are "unified by the joy of improving health," and associates praise this employer for providing autonomy and a platform to share their ideas. In line with its belief that "equity is at the heart of better healthcare," Vituity is committed to fostering inclusion, achieving diversity, and championing accountability at all levels of its organization. For multiple consecutive years, the employer has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area.
Vituity envisions a future in which doctors and providers proactively engage and lead change for patients, offering unprecedented care grounded in "the art of medicine." By integrating systems, the company's aim is to help healthcare organizations improve their performance metrics and standards of care, resulting in higher-quality patient experiences. Headquartered in Emeryville, California, Vituity is a nationwide, multispecialty partnership with additional U.S. and Canadian offices.
