Job Description
The Trainee Manager role is designed to provide practical experience and training in retail management. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the store's daily operations while receiving training in leadership, administration, stock control, customer service, and staff supervision. This role serves as a stepping stone to full managerial responsibilities and requires a dynamic individual with a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and a commitment to achieving store goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager
Assist in staff supervision and training
Help implement and maintain customer service standards
Monitor and manage stock levels and merchandising
Participate in daily administrative functions
Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently
Contribute to achieving sales targets and performance goals
Ensure that store policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Matric or equivalent qualification
Experience:
Minimum of two years retail management experience (essential)
