Job Description
Job Title: Teller (Several No Experience Jobs)
Organisation: KCB Bank Uganda Limited
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receiving /paying cash and cheques across the counter
Adhere to teller transaction & cash holding limits at all times.
Filing all cashier’s/reserve/main summaries.
Filing all cashier’s payments/receipts related correspondences directed to you
Receiving and recording cheque deposits
Correct errors highlighted in the daily cash report.
Calling & checking other tellers’ daily vouchers against daily report
Collect all revenue due to the bank.
Cross selling bank products and referrals as per allocated targets
Exercise due diligence as per the procedures’ manual
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A university degree in relevant business discipline, any professional Qualification in General Banking is an added advantage.
Strong people management skills and thorough knowledge of banking products and services, including wider understanding of the general consumer banking universe.
Strong communications, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
Strong communications, negotiations, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for Performance.
Self – Drive, Flexibility, Focus and attention to detail.
Open to New Ideas in a rapidly changing Business Environment.
