Technician (Chassis Line) job at Kiira Motors Corporation

A Technician (Chassis Line) is responsible for following general instructions, drawings, specifications, standard practice and recognized methods to perform any operations needed to produce prototype and/or production composite parts, components and systems and subsystems.
Key Functions:
Follow Chassis Line build procedures to build and integrate product subsystems and systems according to specifications/blueprints.
Perform visual checks to ensure the finished product on the Chassis Line meets all specifications and functionality requirements.
Monitor the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks and Report equipment faults and part defects to maintenance staff using SOPs.
Perform maintenance tasks like oiling and greasing of Production equipment.
Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work environment observing and practicing high standards of health, safety, and environment.
Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all Chassis Line aspects within the company.
Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Ordinary/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering with at least Credit Class or Equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Craft /Advanced/National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics, UVQF Level II/Trade Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or related field.
Minimum Experience
The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Three (3) years. The applicant should have served a Mechanic dealing with Vehicle Chassis Systems for at least Two (2) years.

Assembly Tooling and Facilities, Error Proofing, Fastening Systems (e.g., torque, angle specs), Electronic systems control.
