Job Description

As a Technical Systems Developer, you will join Clipboard Health’s support team to design, build, and optimize automated systems. Your responsibilities will include developing AWS Lambda functions, integrating APIs, and managing data extraction from systems like Snowflake. You'll also be expected to develop tools that interact with Zendesk and AI assistants like OpenAI. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable translating technical challenges into scalable solutions.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates outside the US and Canada. You'll collaborate across various teams and stay updated with the latest in cloud-based automation and system integration.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for process automation

  • Build systems to retrieve data from APIs and Snowflake database

  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement automation solutions

  • Create serverless tools that integrate with Zendesk and AI assistants

  • Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance

  • Document processes and system architecture

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in automation and AWS services

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • 2-3 years’ experience with AWS Lambda and related services

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively

  • High attention to detail and data reliability

Nice to Have:

  • Experience integrating APIs and working with Snowflake

  • Familiarity with Zendesk API

  • Experience with AI assistants such as OpenAI

System Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 Mbps internet speed

  • At least i5 processor or equivalent

  • Minimum 12GB RAM

  • Quiet work environment

  • Reliable power and internet connection
