Job Description
To support the Senior Staff to enhance undergraduate students learning either in groups or individually, ensuring students understand the work set, know their learning objectives and stay on task in order to make progress.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Support
Technology Assistance: Set up and manage classroom technology, such as projectors, computers, or online platforms, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during classes.
Online Learning Platforms: Assist with managing the course's online presence, including uploading materials, managing discussion boards, and troubleshooting issues students may encounter with the platform.
Professional Development
Learning and Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and understand effective pedagogical techniques.
Feedback Collection: Help gather student feedback on the course and teaching methods, assisting the instructor in making adjustments to improve the learning experience.
Collaboration with Faculty
Regular Meetings: Attend meetings with the course instructor or faculty team to discuss course progress, address any issues, and plan upcoming classes or assignments.
Coordination with Other TAs: If there are multiple TAs for a course, collaborate to ensure consistency in grading, communication, and student support.

Qualifications and Competencies
Should have a Minimum of a Second upper Class Degree in Nursing and Midwifery.
Should have a high level of academic potential to pursue higher degrees.
Experience and Competences
An appropriate knowledge of the curriculum and context you are working in.
Working with senior staff to understand and support assessment for learning
Recognise the importance of using appropriate technology to support learning.
Demonstrated computer and communication skills.
