Job Description
Job Title: Structural Works Site Manager
Organisation: Mota-Engil Africa
Duty Station: Buliisa, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Carry out inspections to assess their structural quality.
Responsible for design development.
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software.
Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers.
Track and report progress on works.
Follow construction safety guidelines.
Evaluate and check drawings and sketches.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or in a related field.
A minimum of 15 years of proven work experience in a senior managerial position working on international construction projects.
Experience in planning and cost control processes.
Experience working on oil and gas construction projects will be a plus.
Advanced knowledge of software programs AutoCAD.
Advanced Knowledge in concrete and structural works.
Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, plans and sketches.
Previous experience in international projects.
Availability to work in multicultural environments and in different geographic areas
