Job Description
Job Title: Stores Officer (Fresher Jobs)

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to Stores Manager, The Successful Candidate Will;
Maintain Goods Receipt Notes for All the Materials.
Optimization of stockholdings to ensure stock is controlled in a secure and useable manner.
Monitor that all materials are correctly handled and received as per the standard operating procedure of the department.
In liaison with line departments prepare plan and forecast stock requirements. *Receive and inspect delivery documents and goods.
Receive and verify quantities of goods received and issued.
Prepare daily stock reconciliation report for both raw material and spare store.
Prepare requisitions for stock replenishments.
Identifying and dispose of obsolete stock.
Prepare reports on stock value and quantity.
Oversee daily stock counting and reconciliation.
Enter inventory into database on a daily basis.
Participating stock taking Activities.
Maintain proper housekeeping in both raw material and spares store.
Any other duties assigned by the Stores Manager.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply chain management or any related field.
2 years of relevant experience is required.
Skills & Professional Attributes Required
Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.
Effective Verbal and written communication.
Professional personal presentation.
Customer service orientation skills.
Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence.
Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions.
Decision making skills is required.
