Job Description
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, managing and developing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This role demands a strong leader who can motivate teams, maintain administrative accuracy, and uphold store standards. The successful candidate will take full accountability for the store’s success through staff management, sales achievement, and customer satisfaction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the overall operations of the store
Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to meet performance targets
Provide training and development for team members
Ensure optimal stock management and store merchandising
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping
Implement and monitor sales strategies to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Uphold store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards
Resolve customer complaints and inquiries professionally

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Matric or equivalent qualification
Experience:
Minimum of two years’ retail management experience (essential)

Strong leadership and team-building skills
Ability to train and develop staff effectively
