Job Title: Store Controllers (Several Fresher Jobs)
Organisation: Hugamara
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Store Controller is responsible for managing financial operations, inventory control, and budgeting within the store. This includes analyzing financial performance, managing cash flow, and ensuring the store operates efficiently while maximizing profitability. The role involves collaborating with store management and corporate teams to ensure financial goals are met and reporting is accurate and timely.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage store budgets, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and planning.
Track and monitor expenses and revenue to ensure alignment with store financial goals.
Manage cash flow, including daily cash handling and weekly/monthly reconciliations.
Ensure all financial records are accurate and comply with company policies.
Inventory Control:
Oversee inventory management, including regular stock counts, order processing, and minimizing stock discrepancies.
Analyze sales and inventory trends to ensure optimum stock levels.
Work with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Sales & Performance Analysis:
Analyze sales data and store performance to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas needing improvement.
Assist store management in setting sales targets and performance goals.
Provide regular financial reports and performance analysis to senior management.
Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory summaries.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Assist with audits and ensure all documentation is available and in order.
Team Support & Training:
Collaborate with store management to train staff on financial and inventory processes.
Provide guidance to staff regarding financial procedures and policies.
Support the store team in achieving financial and operational goals.
