Job Title: Social & Creative Specialist

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Social & Creative Specialist will manage Fido’s social media presence in Uganda, shooting, and crafting engaging content that drives brand awareness and community engagement. This role requires a creative thinker who can develop innovative campaigns that resonate with Fido’s target audience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage Fido’s social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and posting.
Develop and execute social media strategies to grow followers, increase engagement, and drive traffic to Fido’s platforms.
Collaborate with influencers and community leaders to create authentic and engaging content.
Monitor social media trends, conversations, and customer sentiment to inform strategy.
Design and execute contests, challenges, and interactive campaigns to build an active online community.
Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on platform changes and implement best practices to optimize content delivery.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Creative skills in content creation (graphic design, short videos, captions).
Strong knowledge of platforms like Capcut, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
Excellent storytelling and community-building abilities.
