Job Description
The Site Commissioning Leader will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of a Central Processing Facility, LPG extraction plant, 29 remote well pads, and an offshore water abstraction platform. The candidate will manage a team of over 40 personnel, ensure safe execution of commissioning activities, interface with multiple stakeholders, and provide technical leadership in line with company and international standards. This role requires thorough knowledge of commissioning methodologies (OPERCOM, ICAPS) and proven experience leading commissioning operations in large-scale oil and gas projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate commissioning activities across multiple facilities and teams.
Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, resources, and tools are prepared in accordance with OPERCOM and other specifications.
Act as the main point of contact between contractors, vendors, and company departments during commissioning.
Review and approve commissioning documentation, test records, and ICAPS database updates.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed, especially during SIMOPS and high-risk activities.
Conduct Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and ensure clearance of punch lists.
Participate in the development of risk registers, mitigation strategies, and project interface coordination.
Lead site management meetings and supervise commissioning technicians and craft resources.
Contribute to operational handover, technical support, and training of field operations personnel.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Diploma in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related).
Experience:
Minimum 12 years in oil & gas facility commissioning.
Proven leadership of commissioning teams (contractors & vendors).
Hands-on experience with OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS tools.
Strong background in rotating machinery, turbo generators, compressors, HV/MV switchgear, and ICSS systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
English proficiency is mandatory.
Valid Medical Certificate in compliance with company standards.
