Job Description
Equator Seeds Limited (ESL) is currently seeking qualified candidates for several positions within the GRASP Project, a collaboration with aBi Development aimed at enhancing climate-smart production and resilience for smallholder farmers in Northern and Eastern Uganda. The available positions are:
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
1. Project Manager
Responsibilities: Oversee project implementation, manage resources, and ensure objectives are met.
Qualifications: Proven experience in project management, preferably in agricultural development.
2. Project Accountant
Responsibilities: Handle financial management, budgeting, and reporting for the project.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with experience in donor-funded projects.
3. Agribusiness Expert
Responsibilities: Provide expertise in agribusiness development and market access strategies.
Qualifications: Background in agribusiness with a focus on smallholder farmer support.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
4. Extension Advisor
Responsibilities: Offer technical assistance and training to farmers on climate-smart practices.
Qualifications: Degree in Agriculture or related field with experience in extension services.
5. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Responsibilities: Monitor project progress and evaluate outcomes to ensure effectiveness.
Qualifications: Experience in M&E within agricultural projects.
6. Senior Sales Agronomist
Responsibilities: Lead sales efforts and provide agronomic support to farmers.
Qualifications: Advanced knowledge in agronomy and sales experience.
