Teaching and Learning
Course Design and Delivery:
Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physics and related fields.
Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, laboratory exercises, and reading lists.
Use various teaching methods and technologies to engage students and enhance learning.
Student Assessment:
Design and evaluate assessments such as exams, lab reports, problem sets, and presentations.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
Ensure assessments are fair, transparent, and aligned with learning outcomes.
Student Support and Advising:
Offer academic advising and support to students, assisting with course selection, career planning, and addressing academic challenges.
Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations, providing guidance on research methods and technical content.
Research and Scholarship
Research Activities:
Conduct high-quality research in physics, contributing to the advancement of the field.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets.
Grant Applications:

PhD in a relevant area from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
A Master of Science Degree in Physics majoring in either Electronics or Condensed Matter Physics from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
An Honors Bachelor of Science in Education or Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Physics from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
Three (3) years of University teaching experience or relevant working experience in a reputable Organization or Industry for those without PhD.
Four (4) recognized publications in the area of specialization, two (2) of which as the First/ Corresponding/ Senior author.
Evidence of contribution to Community
Age Limit: Should not have reached fifty (50) years of age by deadline for submission of application.
