Job Description
The Senior IT Officer will oversee the installation, maintenance, and integration of IT infrastructure across the bank, supporting digital platforms and ensuring high system availability. The role includes managing IT projects related to system upgrades and compliance, supporting end-users, and coordinating with internal and external teams for efficient service delivery. This individual will play a strategic role in automation initiatives and expansion efforts, including branches and ATM networks.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and integrate IT systems and applications to streamline business operations.
Monitor third-party vendors to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Control IT-related expenditures to remain within budget limits.
Provide user support and training for resolving technical issues.
Ensure high availability of IT systems and digital platforms.
Share IT knowledge and best practices with staff and support units.
Oversee installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Lead IT infrastructure and system integration projects.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver projects successfully.
Plan and implement strategies for integrating new systems.
Support the automation of operational workflows for increased efficiency.
Provide infrastructure support for branch and ATM expansion.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in Routing and Switching.
ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, systems integration, and user support, preferably within banking or financial services.
Key Competencies
Strong project management skills
Excellent troubleshooting and user support capabilities
Strategic thinking and ability to automate processes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with banking systems and regulatory standards
