Job Description
Assist the Senior Human Resource Officer to perform HR functions
Duties and Responsibilities
• Implement annual workplans for the College in line with HR targets;
• Provide technical support and implement decisions of the College subcommittees in line with HR policy;
• Implement College development and change management programmes in line with HR policy;
• Implement and identify gaps in the HR manual and recommend inputs for updating it in line with HR policy;
• Capture, process, maintain and update College records on HURIS in line with HR policy;
• Compile and keep records of payroll, benefits and allowances of College staff in line with HR policy;
• Coordinate with the Centre in the implementation of HR policies.

Qualifications and Competencies
A Master’s degree in Human Resources or MPA, MBA (Human Resource option) or other Master’s degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognized Institution;
• An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Social Sciences or Education or other Humanity with a bias in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from a recognized Institution;
• Membership with an HR Professional Body is an added advantage.
Skills/Competences
• Leadership and supervisory skills;
• Ability to interact with high level management;
• Interpersonal and communication skills;
• Knowledge of labour laws and other related acts;
• Ability to build, lead and work with teams;
• Computer literacy.
