The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for answering phone calls in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, obtaining benefit/insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in dental or health care front office, hospitality front office and or direct customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, emails
Experience with the use of Digital Office Appointment management systems
Promoting the practice using social media
Required skills.
Attention to detail; able to follow and apply established office policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, to be able to work effectively with Patients, Doctors and other staff members under varying conditions
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Customer service oriented, to be able to communicate with a pleasant demeanour at all times.
Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
