Job Description

Job Title: Sales Representative (Fresher Jobs)

Organisation: Double Q Company Limited

Duty Station:  Arua, Uganda


Engage with customers to promote products, generate sales, and build lasting customer relationships to meet sales targets.

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the company’s products or services, and the ability to provide solutions that meet customer needs.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and site visits.

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.

  2. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

    • Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team targets.

    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed.

    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

  3. Product Knowledge and Presentation:

    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products or services to effectively communicate their benefits.

    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations with prospective clients.

    • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.

  4. Negotiation and Closing:

    • Prepare and deliver competitive sales proposals and quotations.

    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure deals.

    • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sales opportunities.

  5. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Submit regular activity reports, including client feedback, sales leads, and market insights.

  6. Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to adapt to customer needs and offer tailored solutions.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous sales experience in [industry or specific field] is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license (if applicable) and willingness to travel.


Working Conditions

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, if necessary.

  • Travel to meet clients and attend events as required.
