Job Description

The Sales Officer Intern will be responsible for selling Mogo’s full suite of financial products to customers, including vehicle loans for motorcycles, cars, and three-wheelers. The role involves handling the loan issuance process, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting administrative functions like inspections and pricing updates. The intern will manage customer leads, follow up to ensure conversion, and adhere to the company's established sales processes. This role requires a proactive and organized individual capable of meeting set sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sell Mogo’s full range of vehicle financing products

  • Facilitate the sale of new and used cars, motorcycles, and three-wheelers

  • Guide clients through the loan issuance and approval process

  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for each transaction

  • Assist with administrative duties such as inspections and pricing updates

  • Follow up with prospective customers and close sales deals

  • Ensure strict adherence to the company's sales processes and standards

  • Contribute to achieving the branch’s sales targets

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing situations

  • Proactive and resourceful approach to challenges

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Fluency in English and Swahili

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities

  • High levels of loyalty and integrity
