Job Description
The Sales Executive will update knowledge on hotel products, generate and maintain client portfolios, meet sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and conduct marketing activities. Responsibilities include client visits, preparing itineraries, applying for tenders, running social media promotions, liaising with hotel staff, responding to client reviews, and monitoring market trends and competition.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Continuously update knowledge on hotel products, services, events, and tariffs.
Generate and maintain client portfolios and databases.
Achieve or exceed budgeted sales targets.
Identify new sales opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling.
Conduct client surveys to understand demographics and preferences.
Make sales visits and calls to prospective and existing clients.
Prepare and present customized itineraries per guest budgets.
Apply for advertised tenders related to hospitality services.
Network with industry players and participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotions.
Monitor hospitality market trends and advise on sales strategies.
Run social media advertising and marketing campaigns.
Coordinate with hotel staff on bookings and event orders.
Monitor and respond to online client reviews and hotel ratings.
Monitor occupancy forecasts and prepare individual sales reports.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a business-related field from a reputable institution.
At least 3 years of proven experience in hospitality sales with strong local and regional networks.
Previous experience in hotel industry or travel agency is an added advantage.
Outstanding sales ability with a track record of revenue generation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of online marketing tools and social media platforms.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good understanding of the outdoor industry and markets.
