Job Description

About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client Securex, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Sales executives to work in Uganda.
Job Purpose: Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product, service delivery, and Expansion of Market Share, Improvement and Maintenance of Company Image.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.

  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.

  • Source for extra business from existing clients as per the monthly targets.

  • Conduct security surveys for new and existing clients and prepare and deliver to the client the survey reports within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Prepare appropriate quotations and deliver to the clients with stipulated timeframe.

  • Follow-up on all quotations and given and submit weekly reports.

  • Communicate to concerned departments of confirmed/ongoing jobs within reasonable timeframe.

  • Analyse business proposal responses and prepare weekly reports.

  • Ensure that service contracts are signed before commencement of the service.

  • Collection of all relevant fees from the client as per the contract terms.

  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

  • Carry out regular visits to clients to monitor Customer Satisfaction.

  • Undertake customer opinion surveys in respect to sales.

  • Organize sales exhibitions and promotions.

  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors

  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.

  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.

  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.

  • Any other duties and responsibilities bestowed upon by the your manager.

Quality Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Ensure your own safety and health and that of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at the workplace (these other persons include fellow employees, clients, customers etc.)

  • Co-operate with the QHSE department in the discharge of health and safety requirements.

  • Wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the company for the purpose of preventing risks to your safety and health.

  • Comply with the safety and health procedures, requirements and instructions given by the company for your own or any other person’s safety.

  • Report to your supervisor, any situation which you have reason to believe would present a hazard and which you cannot correct.

  • Report to your supervisor any accident or injury that arises in the course of or in connection with your work.

  • Co-operate with the company to enable compliance with any statutory provision/requirement in health and safety.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • A university degree in Sales and marketing or business studies is preferred

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience or training in Service sector

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • A Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

  • Self-Motivated. Experience in developing pipeline.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  • A valid driver’s license is must
