Job Description
Resident Physicians will participate in clinical, healthcare, and research activities, gradually assuming clinical duties under supervision. Activities include directly supervised procedures, indirectly supervised procedures, and protected procedures, with increasing levels of independence. Residents will also contribute to data collection, clinical analysis, and potentially research projects or theses, in collaboration with their assigned mentor and project Medical Coordinator. This experience is fully supported financially by EMERGENCY (except for professional registration fees).
Residency participation is subject to staffing needs and may vary depending on project planning.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in direct patient care under supervision.
Engage in training activities: directly supervised, indirectly supervised, and protected activities.
Support research and clinical data analysis activities.
Collaborate with local and international teams.
Attend project-specific and residency-specific training sessions.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives.
Contribute to maintaining clinical standards and quality of care.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Must be enrolled in the last two years of a recognized residency program in one of the following specialties:
Anaesthesia and Intensive Care
Cardiac Surgery
Cardiology (Cardiovascular Disease)
Hospital Pharmacy
Paediatric Surgery
General Surgery
Orthopaedics and Traumatology
Obstetrics and Gynaecology (female applicants only)
Paediatrics
Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Good command of English (minimum B1/B2 on the EU Evaluation Scale).
Availability for a minimum of 6 months abroad.
"Nulla Osta" authorization from the University or managing institution.
Strong motivation, flexibility, and adaptability.
