Uganda National Examinations Board is a national assessment body in Uganda, established in 1983 by an act of Parliament. The UNEB Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary, who is the Chief Executive head and the accounting officer of the board.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is a body corporate established under Cap.137 Laws of Uganda. Its Vision is “A Recognized Centre of Globally Competitive Educational Assessment and Certification” and its mission is “Conduct Valid, Reliable, Equitable and Quality Assessment of Learners’ Achievement in a Professional and Innovative Manner and Award Internationally Recognized Certificates.”

Job Description
Job Title: Research Officer Instrument Development (Biology)
Organisation: Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop assessment tools and instruments for Biology.
Conduct research to ensure the validity and reliability of test instruments.
Analyze feedback to refine and improve assessment tools.
Provide technical support in the development of examinations and tests.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field.
Experience in curriculum development or educational assessment is an advantage.
Strong analytical and research skills.
