Job Description
The Relationship Manager will be tasked with servicing Advantage Banking customers by managing their accounts and fostering strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include sales activities such as generating leads and cross-selling products, explaining credit loan facility options, and ensuring customers are informed of their rights and obligations. The Manager will also oversee portfolio management, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups on transactions. Compliance with operational procedures and regulatory standards, managing credit and operational risks, and handling loan applications will also be key responsibilities. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure client satisfaction and risk mitigation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide leads and cross-selling opportunities, explain loan facility options, and support customers in completing credit applications.
Offer personalized service, drive customer retention, educate customers about products, and verify documents for account opening and amendments.
Maintain accurate records and follow up on transactions to ensure completion.
Adhere to KYC policies, manage credit and operational risks, and ensure audit/risk compliance.
Process credit applications and related issues in line with credit policies.
Engage with clients and business partners, resolve queries, and provide efficient service.
Manage fraud and forgeries while ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
A minimum of 4 years of related experience in relationship management or banking.
Strong customer focus and communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to plan and organize efficiently.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Assertiveness and interpersonal sensitivity.
High integrity and team player.
