The bureau's services are designed to foster business development, protect intellectual property, and ensure that civil events are recorded accurately and efficiently. URSB has also embraced technology, enabling online services that allow citizens to register their businesses, trademarks, patents, and other important records from the comfort of their homes or offices.

Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB)
Review and identifying gaps in the current Insolvency legislation.
Review and identifying gaps in the current Insolvency legislation.
Carry out research on relevant laws.
Advise and propose reforms required for the better administration of Insolvency in Uganda.
Register Insolvency practitioners
Investigate the conduct of insolvency practitioners and prosecute them for any offences committed under the Insolvency Act.
Ensure compliance by insolvency practitioners
Create awareness about insolvency practice in Uganda.
Take all necessary steps and actions considered fit by the Official Receiver to fulfill the provisions of the Insolvency Act.

Key Outputs
To review, identify and facilitate the legal reform process for laws administered under the insolvency regime of Uganda.
Qualification and Experience
An Honors’ University Degree in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from recognized institution.
Personal Specification
Must possess drafting skills,
Must possess knowledge of the current legal framework in Uganda.
Must demonstrate skill and knowledge of legislative drafting and the legal reform process.
Experience in legislative drafting shall be an added advantage.
