The positions will be based in MBALE and will report directly to QUALITY MANAGER.
Conducting analysis and providing reports for all purchased coffee
Monitoring the quality of coffee during processing.
Handling all dispatch samples (approvals, stock lot, type, shipments, pre-shipment, and offer samples) that are being sent and updating the status in the records.
Supervising off-loading and loadings
Keeping records of all quality activities (export, storage, and purchase)
Cupping, reporting, and recording results
Inspecting export containers and coffee before loading
Giving quality advice where necessary and explaining quality terms to clients
Making sure that the company produces coffee to the UCDA standards and that all other quality standards are met.
Understanding clients’ needs and helping in meeting them in terms of quality.
Training new staff and interns on the basics of the quality of coffee.

Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in Food Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the coffee processing industry.
Experience with coffee quality assessment, grading, and certification processes is highly desirable.
Familiarity with coffee grading standards and quality control procedures.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate coffee quality and detect defects.
Proficiency in project management and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience in developing and executing work plans and schedules.
High attention to detail to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Ability to document and track quality metrics accurately.
Ability to identify quality issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
Passionate about coffee and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to travel to various locations, including suppliers and production facilities, as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
