Job Description
Job Title: QA/QC Inspector

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Avanti Energy Services Limited, a leading Oil and Gas Human Resource Recruitment and Consultancy firm, is seeking a QA/QC inspector to support our client in the dynamic oil and gas sector. This is a critical role for a results-oriented professional committed to advancing clear and quality goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Inspecting materials, workmanship, and processes to maintain quality.
Identifying and resolving defects or non-conformities.
Maintaining documentation and quality reports.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Inspection & Testing, Conducting quality checks on materials, equipment, and work processes.
Compliance – Ensuring adherence to industry standards
Documentation – Maintaining inspection reports, test records, and NCRs.
Defect Resolution – Identifying quality issues and assist in corrective actions.
Coordination – Working with engineers, contractors, and clients to uphold quality.
Safety Assurance – Ensuring quality procedures align with safety regulations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Certification: Valid and relevant QA/QC certifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a QA/QC inspection role, preferably in oil & gas, EPC projects, or industrial construction.
Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, industry standards, documentation, non-destructive testing (NDT), and excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
