Job Description
The Projects Manager (Commercial Buildings) will manage all aspects of property development and construction for Hollywoodbets' national portfolio. This includes overseeing planning applications, quantity surveying, capital expenditure forecasting, and liaising with architects, engineers, and contractors. The successful candidate will lead new branch builds, renovations, and expansions, ensuring all projects meet quality, cost, and time objectives while aligning with brand and operational standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee standard building practices and manage processes for site improvements, building alterations, and new builds.
Manage all municipal planning submissions and applications.
Handle quantity surveying, tender processes, capital expenditure forecasts, and national specifications.
Project manage retail expansions, renovations, new builds, and relocations.
Lead a team of professionals including architects, engineers, and consultants.
Work with operations and design teams to define branch branding, layout, and design.
Ensure branches are project-compliant and ready for operation within agreed timelines.
Liaise with contractors and landlords for maintenance and upgrades.
Oversee CSR and Foundation construction projects.
Manage branch closures in line with landlord requirements.
Ensure all compliance certifications and municipal approvals are in place.
Scrutinize and challenge project costs to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering).
Valid driver’s license.
Proven project management experience in commercial property or related fields.
Desirable (Added Advantage):
Experience in office design and building management.
Core Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
Ability to design and execute work plans in line with strategic objectives.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
