Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager - Fiber Network Operations
Organisation: Chrif Enterprises
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Project Manager will lead and oversee fiber network projects from start to finish, ensuring all targets are met without exception. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of fiber network projects, from planning to execution and completion.
Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and performance targets.
Ensure fiber optic installations are completed efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor and report daily project progress, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to maintain efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement in installation processes to meet the target of 40 installations per day.
Mitigate project risks and troubleshoot challenges to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing fiber network projects.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of managing teams and meeting tight deadlines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.
