Job Title: Project Director

We are seeking for highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Director in child ministry working in partnership with Compassion International.
In order for the Child Development Ministry of the church to function effectively, the church needs a staff who is given the authority and responsibility to direct day-to-day Affairs and activities, supervise other project staff in the achievement of the outcomes as well as regularly interact with Compassion International.
This position is known as the Project Director.
The Project Director is therefore the team leader of the project staff.
He /she is expected to offer knowledge. guidance and technical skills to children, project committee. parents, fellow project workers and church leadership in areas of spiritual development. project planning and budgeting. comprehensive healthcare, social and skills development. and academic advancement
He /she is to ensure that all programmatic, financial, health and sponsor service aspects of the project are managed efficiently and effectively.
She/he must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a strong Christian witness who demonstrates a courteous.
Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of the Church, and faithfully upholds child ministry in prayer.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Must be a mature born-again Christian with a sound testimony.
The applicant must have work experience of 2-3 years in managerial work.
Must at least have a Bachelor’s degree in Development studies, Social work and social sciences, Education, Child Development and Children’s Ministry, Business Studies, Social Sciences.
Theology and certificate in project management or financial management will be an added advantage.
Must have good interpersonal skills, a team builder and willing to take initiative.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Experience and current knowledge of HIV/ AIDS intervention is desirable.
Working ability to apply and adapt established accounting procedures to a variety of accounting transactions. problems and situations.
Good written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills. Intermediate English ability is preferred.
Must have ability to represent the church at a professional
Must have ability to create alliances, partnerships and networks for the church
Skills in Project planning and budgeting, proposal writing. and financial management will be an added advantage.
Formal training in counselling and child development is an added advantage
Ability to be creative with a developmental mind set.
Age Range: 25yrs -40yrs Old
