Job Description
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Organisation: The Salvation Army (TSA)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Project Coordinator will provide leadership and oversight to ensure the successful implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the SICRA project. The role requires strategic planning, coordination with key stakeholders and ensuring alignment with donor requirements and The Salvation Army’s mission
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead project planning, budgeting, and implementation in a participatory manner
Engage communities and stakeholders inducing local government and faith-based organizations to foster collaboration.
Ensure compliance with donor agreements and The Salvation Army’s policies
Oversee project progress. monitoring, and evaluation to ensure impact and sustainability
Mentor and build the capacity of field teams for effective project execution.
Manage financial resources and ensure accountability in budget utilization

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Project Planning. Social Sciences, or Education
A Postgraduate Diploma or master’s degree in a related had is an added advantage
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing donor-funded community development projects
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management skills
Experience in budgeting, grant management and compliance with donor regulations
