Raising The Village
Job Description
Raising The Village is seeking 5 qualified and dynamic Project Assistants to support project implementation at the community level. The ideal candidates will be responsible for facilitating training, implementing project methodologies, community engagement, reporting, and supporting monitoring and evaluation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Project planning, implementation, and coordination
Community engagement and mobilization
Conduct training sessions across various thematic areas
Prepare and manage field reports and financial accountability
Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project goals
Regular interaction with village leadership and stakeholders
Support program evaluation and sustainability initiatives

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Humanities, or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience working at community level
Technical Skills:
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Fluent in English and local languages spoken in RTV areas
Knowledge of community-based development principles
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Physically fit and willing to travel extensively (90% field time)
Ability to ride a motorcycle is a strong advantage
