Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing TLS’s core programs, including professional development, ethics and compliance, and legal advocacy. The role involves strategic planning, program evaluation, resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and supervision of program officers. The Program Manager is expected to uphold the organization's standards and ensure effective implementation of initiatives that promote access to justice and legal professionalism.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of TLS programs.
Oversee initiatives on professional development, ethics, compliance, and legal advocacy.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders including government, judiciary, parliament, and development partners.
Ensure timely program reporting and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Supervise program officers and contribute to the strategic direction of TLS.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program management or a similar field.
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing donor-funded programs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
