Job Description
The Professional Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company personnel, products, and materials within Dar es Salaam and beyond. The role requires regular vehicle maintenance checks, maintaining cleanliness, managing vehicle records, and complying with all safety and company policies. Candidates must be familiar with local routes and flexible to undertake long-term business trips when required.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Transport company staff, materials, and products as assigned
Clean and maintain vehicles before and after use
Keep accurate records of vehicle usage and manage relevant documents
Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure all paperwork is up to date
Follow all company and road safety regulations
Be available for long-distance and irregular business travel

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Valid and appropriate driving license for cars, trucks, and/or loaders
For car drivers: Fluency in spoken and written English
Familiar with roads, traffic rules, and shops in Dar es Salaam
Physically fit, disciplined, and committed to safe driving practices
Must comply with company rules and demonstrate a professional work ethic
Willing to work flexible hours and travel for extended periods if required
No specific education or experience required
