Biyinzika was founded in 1990 as a poultry breeder farm and has grown steadily over the years to establish itself as one of the best- known brands in the Ugandan poultry industry.
We are now the leading supplier of day-old chicks and poultry feeds in the country.
We have recently started producing other livestock feeds such as dairy and pig feeds.
A commercial broiler farm was set up in 2016 which is now in full production.

Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognised household brand within Uganda. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken Brand.
BPIL is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below
Plan, monitor, coordinate and execute plant activities and processes.
Monitor plant performance and ensure that the overall production is as per the set standard, quantity, and quality.
Monitor and ensure that all the sections within the feed mill are performing and producing as per the set plan and standard.
Ensure effective functioning of all feed mill equipment and machinery through timely identification of problems and resolution.
Develop and implement mechanisms to control and minimize costs like labour, overtime, consumable consumption and repair expenses.
Support stock management and the feed distribution process.
Ensure production of quality feed and other plant products such as soya cake, full fat, and crude oil as per the BPIL quality standards.
Participate in preparation of reports in relation to the plant activities and dissemination thereof.

Degree in Engineering, Production or related fields.
Professional: Certificate in Milling technology is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy commercial production set-up preferably milling.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
Excellent planning, reporting and organisational skills.
Ability to develop, understand and enforce SOPs.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
Good milling knowledge and ability to train the team.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Housekeeping Practices (GHPs)
