1. Conduct installations and preventive maintenance of plumbing works to facilitate business operations
a) Draw up inspection schedules and carry out periodic inspections
b) Conduct or ensure expert installations and repairs on plumbing works and generate status reports
c) Monitor performance of Office cleaning services and sanitary facilities
d) Prepare status reports and recommend possible solutions where necessary
2. Prepare terms of reference, BOQs and specifications to facilitate procurement of plumbing services in the organization
a) Prepare layouts and BOQs for plumbing works and maintenance
b) Raise procurement requisitions in the e-procurement system and follow up on their progress and Implementation
c) Follow up to ensure delivery of the procured items to the end users
d) Verify and recommend tax invoices for procured items for payments
3. Maintain a database of maintenance and installation works carried out for accountability purposes
a) Develop and maintain an up-dated database on plumbing works and prepare status reports for stations across the organization.
b) Draw a maintenance schedule and conduct periodic maintenance on equipment that require plumbing works
c) Generate periodic maintenance status reports and submit to the manager.
4. Monitor usage and recommend payments of water bills to avoid erroneous expenditure and ensure uninterrupted service to all URA stations.
a) Carry out meter readings, reconcile payments and update the database
b) Ensure timely payments for all water utilities for all URA facilities.
c) Follow up with service providers and ensure uninterrupted service to all URA stations.
d) Ensure continuous and consistent supply of water to URA Headquarters and all URA facilities
e) Ensure quality and updated fittings within URA facilities and their optimal operations.

Essential Requirements
a) At least Diploma or advanced certificate in Plumbing obtained from a recognized institution
b) At least five (05) years’ hands-on experience in plumbing works in a reputable organization
c) An impeccable record of integrity
Desirable Requirements
a) Training in fabrications
Knowledge
a) Knowledge of IEE regulations

a) The incumbent should have good communication skills
b) The incumbent should have good interpersonal skills
c) S/he should have Resilience with the ability to travel frequently
