Serving over 20,000 clients in 12 districts of the Mid-Western and Central region(s) of Uganda, ENCOT Microfinance Limited (ENCOT) is a social impact, fast-growing, and innovative MFI operating a network of 10 Branches in Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola, Kawempe, Luweero, Bweyale, Katikara and Karuguuza. ENCOT’s mission is to provide inclusive financial services to micro and small enterprise communities in Uganda.

Serving over 36,000 clients in 17 districts of the Mid-Western and Central region(s) of Uganda, ENCOT Microfinance Limited (ENCOT) is a social impact, fast growing and innovative MFI operating a network of 10 branches of Hoima, Masindi, Kigumba, Kagadi, Nakasongola, Kawempe, Luweero, Bweyale, Katikara and Karuguuza. ENCOT’s mission is to provide microfinance services to low-income smallholder farmer communities, most especially women, to allow them curve their own paths out of poverty through creation of own jobs. ENCOT is seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated and result oriented professionals to urgently fill the following positions
To identify, pursue, and negotiate strategic partnership opportunities that align with the ENCOT’s objectives and listing them and sharing the information with the Business Development Manager and Finance & Administration Manager.
To assist with funding proposal writing processes. This involves writing project and budget plan proposals and coordinating with the different stakeholders with the aim of sometimes jointly submitting a project proposal.
To assist in developing a fund generation and resource mobilization Workplan and constantly follow-up the implementation of the plan. This involves designing and writing materials for communications with different prospective donors and agencies.
To develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products/services to effectively communicate value propositions to partners.
To cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
To collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to develop strategic plans and initiatives to drive partnership success.
To monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential partnership opportunities and threats.
To track and report on key metrics, evaluate partnership effectiveness, and recommend improvements or changes as necessary.
To stay updated with industry developments and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities
To assist in mobilizing non-financial resources from private sectors entities, individuals and corporate agencies.
To coordinate processing of agreements in connection with funding opportunities and ensure effective and timely follow-up in terms of submission of reports to the donors and grant renewal proposals.
To undertake all other relevant activities as and when assigned by the Business Development Manager and Finance & Administration Manager respectively.

A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field is required.
At least a year of relevant hands on experience in similar field.
Excellent Time Management
Attention to detail
Ability to creatively solve problems
Good analytical skills in developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies
Ability to work effectively in teams
Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate deliverables/outcomes. Initiative taker, self- motivation and a commitment to continuously work results oriented
Negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy and ability to effectively use a variety of software particularly
Demonstrated passion for improving the lives of the poor.
