Job Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the organization's operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. The role involves recruiting and training staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service. The Operations Manager will also manage vendor relationships, financial planning, and compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to enhance guest satisfaction and identify opportunities for business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.
Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance guest experience and efficiency.
Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
Ensure exceptional service at all times, addressing guest issues and complaints promptly.
Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop and manage the budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
Monitor expenses and revenue, identifying cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with set standards and regulations.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, implementing relevant policies and conducting safety drills.
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
Prepare and present reports on operational performance, financial status, and guest satisfaction metrics.
Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies to boost occupancy and revenue.
Identify and implement strategies for business growth and expansion.
Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and guest-first mentality.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a unified approach to operations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
Proficiency in hotel management software.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach.
