The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing and guiding the development of the communications sector in Uganda. Established by the Uganda Communications Act of 2013, the UCC's mandate encompasses telecommunications, broadcasting, radio communication, and postal services, ensuring that these services are accessible, efficient, and reliable for all Ugandans.

Officer Information Services job at Uganda Communications Commission (UCC)
Uganda Communications Commission (UCC)
To support the commission’s Records Management Program by implementing best practices for the registry in line with the Commission's Corporate mission.
Receive incoming mail and invoices, both physical and electronic copies.
Classify physical copies of outgoing mail and electronic copies (in the ERDMS)
Transfer records from departments to the registry.
Manage the appraisal, weeding and boxing of inactive files and transfer them to the records centre.
Retrieve and distribute files required by staff.
Attend to internal and external inquiries concerning inbound mail and invoices.
Support ERDMS Operations/usage and appraise subordinates.
Maintain flexibility to accommodate any other duties assigned by the line supervisor from time to time.

Bachelor's degree in library and information sciences, records or archives management, or public administration & management.
Working Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
