Job Description

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating medical conditions, prescribing medications, and offering preventive care. NPs work independently or in collaboration with physicians to manage patient care, conduct physical exams, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. They specialize in various areas such as family care, pediatrics, geriatrics, or women's health. Nurse Practitioners also provide patient education, promote wellness, and manage chronic conditions. The role requires advanced clinical training, strong decision-making skills, and a deep understanding of medical protocols and patient care.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Performing clinical assessments, evaluations and taking patient history
Offering treatment options and guidance to patients on our platform
Order, interpret and perform diagnostic tests
Develop plans for care including prescribing medications or therapies
Collaborate and consult with care team and stakeholders as needed

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience required:
• Hold a valid and active permit to practice in Quebec as a Nurse Practitioner (Primary care or Adult)
• Bilingual in French and English
