Job Description
The National Content Intern will work closely with the National Content Team to support EACOP’s efforts in maximizing local participation in its supply chain and workforce. Responsibilities include conducting research on national content regulations and policies, assisting in the monitoring of compliance metrics, and supporting outreach and engagement with stakeholders including local businesses, communities, and government entities. The intern will also help facilitate workshops, prepare communications materials, and coordinate with internal departments such as HR and procurement to align project activities with national content goals.
The role offers hands-on experience in compliance, public engagement, and capacity-building while contributing to the socio-economic development goals of the EACOP project.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct research on national content policies, best practices, and sector trends.
Analyze data related to local workforce participation and supplier engagement.
Assist in planning and executing stakeholder engagement events and workshops.
Document national content activities and prepare performance reports.
Support compliance monitoring and contribute to developing strategies to improve adherence to local content regulations.
Assist in designing and facilitating training programs for local suppliers and community workers.
Support communication and awareness campaigns related to national content via press releases, social media, and website content.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure integration of national content objectives into project workflows.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Procurement, or a related field from a recognized university.
Must provide a university introduction letter and student ID.
Must submit a partial transcript/testimonial showing current academic scores with a minimum of an upper-second class degree.
Must be available full-time for the internship duration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive stakeholder information.
Proactive attitude and strong interest in community development and economic inclusion.
Must submit a formal internship application letter.
