Job Description
The positions are open to professionals and qualified individuals who can contribute to the agricultural and industrial operations of the company. Successful candidates will be stationed at different operational units and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the company’s production, field services, and maintenance units. These roles support KSCL’s mission to remain the leading sugar producer in Tanzania.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
The responsibilities vary depending on the specific position. Below is a summary for key roles:
Heavy Equipment & Field Services Foreman – Supervise and manage equipment operations and field maintenance.
IT Technician – Support IT infrastructure, troubleshoot systems, and maintain digital tools.
Technical Trainer – Develop and deliver technical training to staff.
Artisan Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Workers – Perform electrical maintenance and repair tasks.
Surveyor (Agriculture) – Conduct land and crop surveys and provide technical support.
Farm Supervisor – Oversee farming operations and staff in assigned areas.
General Worker / Operator / Attendant – Perform operational support functions in factories and farms.
Instrumentation Maintenance Worker – Handle instrumentation and control systems.
