Job Description
As a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor at Coalition Technologies, you’ll be responsible for creating promotional videos and animations that drive engagement and brand visibility. This includes everything from storyboarding to final edits for clients across various industries. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as copywriters, graphic designers, and digital producers to ensure creative alignment and campaign success. The role requires technical proficiency, a creative mindset, and the ability to work on tight deadlines in a remote setting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Create promotional and marketing videos for Coalition Technologies and clients
Produce short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok, etc.
Develop animated banners and motion graphics for various campaigns
Work with scripts, design assets, and footage provided by team or clients
Participate in ideation and storyboarding processes
Record narrations and manage personal video shooting setup when needed
Attend and contribute to client meetings
Collaborate with internal teams to align project vision and strategy
Stay updated with current trends in storytelling, video, and social platforms
Encode and upload videos in required formats
Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics
Proficiency in video editing software
Strong creative storytelling and scriptwriting skills
Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook content
Graphic design, 3D modeling, or illustration experience (a plus)
Prior work with online advertising or promotional content (a plus)
Reliable workstation, camera, microphone, internet, and backup power
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Excellent spoken and written English
Availability to work in PST time zone (40 hours/week)
